The 110kV Lang Tuong Substation and connecting line project is invested by EVNSPC, managed and operated by the Southern Power Project Management Board and operated by Dong Thap Power Company. The project has a total investment of more than 115 billion VND, constructed by Vietnam Industrial Construction Joint Stock Corporation.

Lang Tuong 110kV Station with a designed capacity of 2x40MVA (first phase investment 1x40MVA), meets the criteria for developing a smart, modern power grid, equipped with SCADA system, HMI, surveillance camera and solar battery system, serving the management and operation, data collection, monitoring and remote control.

The leaders and staff of the Corporation have worked through days and nights, even on holidays to keep the schedule. The successful switch-on is VINAINCON’ effort to celebrate Vietnam’s 50th anniversary of Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The 110kV Lang Tuong Station in operation will provide a stable power source for Thanh Binh district and neighboring areas, sharing the load with other 110kV stations such as Tran Quoc Toan Industrial Park, An Long and Tam Nong. The project will help to improve voltage quality and reduce power loss and increase reliability in power supply, especially during the summer.
